Christmas 2010

Leipzig

There stands alone a merry-go-round.
A blue dressed fairy invites me to stay,
Nobody's there for my money to count,
The night's still icy and wintry white-gray.

I choose a lion to be my safe seat,
I grasp the mane, try to hold him a while,
He runs through forest, doesn't care my hearts beat,
We fly through bushes, jump up to dark sky.

He roars and fights, tries to throw me down.
He turns to left, then up and wildly around.
Bearded man on moon sends us back to town,
I find myself there on my lion unwound.

White Christmas

White snow's all up in the sky.
I'll embrace my friends at sun.
At night I said a last Good Bye.

After a year is gone again,
Cold snowflakes draw still faces.
Old anger, sadness, lasting pain
Melt like white flakes on my now loving brain.

My hat's quite wet under the dance.
My feet draw wide white circles,
My arms wide open to receive a new chance,
My heart that feels a deeply meant
Thanks.
